About the pump track:
Pump Track Wales is the UK’s first split sprint pump track, based in the heart of Mid Wales in Rhayader – claimed to be the biking capital of the UK.
The pump track was designed by Arran Cartwright – Cartwright Associates and built by Clark and Kent Contractors, a highly renowned pump track and BMX track builder across the globe.
Come and visit the pump track – it is open all year round and completely free.
Location:
Pump Track Wales can be found on the western side of Rhayader.
From the centre of Rhayader (The Town Clock), head for the Elan Valley,
Travel along West Street passing the local shops and public houses, carry on towards Rhayader Bridge passing Clive Powell Bike Sales, Repair and Hire on the way.
Your journey will decend down a small hill, you will notice Mid Wales Holiday Lets on the right hand side of the main road and a turning directly opposite to the left.
Turn down the left road and follow it to the bottom and around to the left.
Pump Track Wales is on your right.
